YIAD Educational Platform — Education Sponsorship Project

Yemen is experiencing one of the world's most complex humanitarian crises, with international reports indicating that more than 2.2 million school-age children are out of school, and high school students are the most at risk of dropping out due to poverty and displacement.\n\nThe Education Sponsorship Project is a strategic response adopting the triple Nexus approach that integrates education, social protection, and economic empowerment. It includes four implementation components: academic and technical empowerment (school kits, uniforms, smart education via tablets, and enhancement classes), flexible financial support (a monthly grant per semester), life skills and leadership training, and monitoring & evaluation (MEAL).\n\nBahr Altechnology developed a fully integrated web platform for the project covering beneficiary management, registration and tracking, and transparent attendance monitoring and grant disbursement — serving 1,000 orphaned and displaced students across 4 governorates, in partnership with the platform administration (YIAD) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).
